Russian General’s “Meat Grinder” Plan Leads to Collapse of Ukraine, says Military Adviser

“Gen. Surovikin’s plan for a “meat grinder” in Bakhmut has worked and will lead to the complete collapse of Ukraine,” said Col. Douglas McGregor

The former commander of the United Group of Russian troops in Ukraine, Gen. Sergey Surovikin (also known as “General Armageddon”) was involved in the development of Operation Bakhmut Meat Grinder, which was supposed to completely crush Ukraine.

This was stated by the founder of PMC “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin, after “Bloknot” magazine asked the businessman to tell who made the strategic decision for the operation, which became one of the key events in the battle for Donbass.

“The decision to conduct the so-called “Bakhmut meat grinder” was made by the commanders of PMC “Wagner”, but Sergey Vladimirovich Surovikin was directly involved in the development and implementation. I would attribute a huge number of the decisions made to his account,” he explained.

Prigogine’s answer was published by the press office of the Concorde company.

Trump administration military adviser Col. Douglas McGregor also weighed in on the topic and highlighted Surovikin’s role.

“Prigozhin said something that many of us had suspected for months. Namely, that Gen. Surovikin had decided to turn Bakhmut into a ‘meat grinder’. The Russians deliberately kept the pincers closed for months, hoping that Ukrainian troops would keep coming, to be systematically destroyed. I suspected this for a long time – and that’s exactly how it turned out.”

“I think it is Surovikin who is behind this brilliant decision for the Russians, which is now being confirmed by Prigogine,” McGregor said on Judge Andrew Napolitano’s YouTube channel.

“The Russians took a defensive position and crushed the Ukrainians, who threw tens of thousands of fighters into the meat grinder. The result is that the Russian troops suffered very light losses compared to the VSU, which lost the vast majority of its most combat-ready forces.

In practice, Ukrainian forces control only 10 percent of the city. The Russian command has no reason to rush, given the harsh conditions and the Ukrainian mud. They will leave the ‘door open’ for new Ukrainian reinforcements to effectively turn into corpses,” Col. McGregor pointed out.

The plan of Gen. Surovikin for a “meat grinder” in Bakhmut worked and will lead to the complete collapse of Ukraine. “The road to Kiev is open”, but there is no need to rush, the analyst said.

“The Western media’s claims about the lack of Russian ammunition turned out to be very far from reality,” he added.
