The Russian energy monopolist Gazprom, controlled by dictator Vladimir Putin and managed by his loyal associates, has reduced the production of “blue fuel” by almost a quarter, indicating the reason: the refusal of a number of countries from Russian gas, writes Meduza with reference to company report.
It became known that in the first half of this year, the production of natural and associated gas in the Russian Federation amounted to 179.45 billion cubic meters, which is almost a quarter lower than for the same period in 2022.
At the same time, Russians explain such a strong collapse in gas production not by their own economic miscalculations, and certainly not by the Kremlin unleashing a war, but by the fact that civilized countries made “politically motivated” decisions.
“The decline in production by 24.7% is due to the adoption in a number of countries of politically motivated decisions aimed at refusing to import Russian gas“- Gazprom representatives write in their official report.
How convenient it is when one’s own mistakes and crimes can be attributed to external “enemies”… But just recently the Kremlin boasted that after the “ban” in Europe they would be able to calmly reorient themselves to the Asian market and “no problems.” As we see, Russia still has problems.
