The showdown between commanders in Ukraine is an internal matter of the country, and those who govern it must take care of it. This statement was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
“This is an internal matter of the country, <…> therefore, let those who control it take care of this specific issue,” Lavrov said at a press conference, commenting on conflicts between various branches of government and the army command in Kyiv, RIA Novosti reports. He added that Ukraine has lost its independence and is being controlled from the outside.
Earlier it became known about the conflict between Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny. Then the commander in chief gave an interview to a British newspaper, where he openly admitted that the Ukrainian counteroffensive had reached a dead end.
