“Russian Forces Prepare for Possible Counteroffensive in Ukraine”

Currently, the Russian army is actively preparing for a possible counteroffensive of the Ukrainian armed forces.

Russian forces have focused their main efforts on preparing for the expected event. This was reported by the Military Media Center of the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine, quoted by the Ukrainian publication “Focus”.

“According to the available information, the enemy continues the active transfer of additional weapons, military, special equipment, as well as the accumulation of cruise and ballistic missiles and attack drones from the territory of Russia to the operational areas,” noted the Military Media Center.

Russian forces continue to strengthen their defensive positions in the occupied territories of Ukraine, paying special attention to the installation of fortification equipment.

In some sections of the front, Russian units continue offensive actions with the aim of seizing new territories in the eastern regions of Ukraine.

“Russian troops are taking measures to maximally exhaust and limit the defense potential of Ukraine, as well as to hinder the preparation of Ukrainian troops for a possible counteroffensive. To this end, they have, in particular, intensified the use of barrage munitions,” the statement said.
