Russian forces, retreating from their positions, are mining Ukrainian settlements, the National Guard of Ukraine said on Saturday.
“The enemy is mining Ukrainian settlements, retreating from their position. The rascals are vile and do not deny any possibility of harming civilians, “the National Guard said in a statement to the Telegram.
The National Guard emphasizes that mines and other explosive objects can be anywhere: in abandoned homes, on the street, in children’s playgrounds, in the countryside, in forests, in water bodies, on the roadsides.
“In cities, these are first and foremost objects that can have value in an occupied city – a mobile phone, a weapon or its parts, a first-aid kit, product kits, children’s belongings. Mining cases have also been recorded, ”the National Guard said.
