Russian forces in Ukraine launch an attack on Kherson

Russian occupation forces in Ukraine have launched an attack on the city of Kherson in the south of the country, Ukraine’s state special communications and information protection service told Telegram.

“The storming of Kherson has begun. According to eyewitnesses, the enemy is attacking from the airport to the Mykolaiv highway and the bypass near the cold store, “the statement said.

The mayor of Kherson, Igor Kolihayev, said the city had been blocked by Russian forces, which had set up block posts at the entrances to Kherson.
