In violation of the Convention on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, the Russian forces are using gas grenades and homemade bombs equipped with irritant substances, dropping them from drones.”
“The Defense Forces of Ukraine have already documented 626 cases of the Russians using ammunition containing indigo chemicals, and 81 such cases were in December. The frequency of this use is increasing, and up to 10 cases are recorded every day,” Kostenko said.
She added that the occupiers are also carrying out “artillery fire with the use of chemical hazardous substances, which is another gross violation of the rules of war by the Russian forces.”
