Details: According to sources, on January 8, a flying object fell on the outskirts of the village of Bolshoi Morets, which is located between Voronezh and Saratov, north of Volgograd. A video of a fallen object was published at night in the public page “Overheard. Volgograd Krasnoarmeisky” on the VKontakte social network.
The footage of one video shows elongated objects flying in the sky – the author claims that these are rockets. It then shows broken trees, electronic circuit boards, and a metal object lying on the ground that looks like a piece of a rocket. Next is a field with a piece of metal on it and an oblong object, also similar to part of a rocket.
The second video shows several oblong metal objects lying in a field. One of them has a video camera.
Information about the facility was confirmed by the head of the village administration, Galina Zueva. She noted that the information was transferred to emergency services. The Unified Duty Dispatch Service of the Elansky District declined to comment, and the Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Volgograd Region stated that they had not received any messages about this.
While clearing a crossing in the Elansky district, railway workers discovered an object resembling a piece of ammunition. Emergency services cordoned off the site where this object fell.
Local residents speculate that it is part of a munition or a drone.
Let us remind you: Since the beginning of the full-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, “flying objects” have repeatedly fallen in Russia.
On December 31, 2022, metal fragments of an unidentified object that fell from the sky were discovered in a field in the Rudnyansky district of the Volgograd region. Local residents suggested on social networks that it was rocket debris.
On October 17, 2022, in the Krasnodar region, a Su-34 plane crashed near a nine-story residential building. The incident occurred in Yeisk, 16 people were killed.
On April 7, 2022, it became known that part of the wall of a residential building in the Frolov farmstead, Oblivsky district, Rostov region, was destroyed after an aircraft missile fell on it. The warhead did not detonate; the missile was destroyed by sappers.
