Vyacheslav Zaitsev is one of the most famous Russian fashion designers – even in Soviet times he received the nickname “Red Dior” in the Western press. Zaitsev’s collections have been shown at prestigious exhibitions around the world for decades. Zaitsev designed costumes for Soviet and Russian pop stars, figure skaters and Olympic delegations. He also worked on costumes for performances in many Moscow theaters, musicals and television films.
