“Russian Drones Destroy Ukrainian Air Defense Unit in Mykolaiv Oblast”

On Wednesday, there was talk in Telegram about a successful operation by the armed forces of the Russian Federation against a Ukrainian air defense unit. And now there have also been videos of accurate hits by Lancet drones on Ukrainian anti-aircraft installations, it is written “Focus”.

All targets were located near the village of Promin in Mykolaiv Oblast: apparently the Russian UAV operators “captured” the division at the time of deployment.

The first launcher (PU) of the S-300 complex was completely destroyed by the explosion. The second launcher was damaged by shrapnel and the impact of another drone that struck the front of the container with the missile guidance system.

An attempt is then made to strike the third launcher in motion, but the impacts only damage the launch containers. The fourth launcher is less fortunate: after the hit, it burns out completely.

A video of a Lancet strike against the German Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft system was also released, the first confirmed defeat of a machine of this type. The projectile hits the gun’s homing radar and is guaranteed to disable the equipment at least temporarily.

The result of the operation of the armed forces of the Russian Federation were two destroyed and two damaged S-300 launchers, as well as one affected ZSU Gepard. This means that in one day, the Russian troops actually disabled an entire anti-aircraft missile division of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

At the same time, in the following days, evidence of attacks against other enemy air defense systems and radars emerged:

On the Zaporozhye direction, the Lancet hits the Ukrainian Tor air defense system.

Under Snigirevka, the Russian Air Force hit another launcher of the S-300 complex.

According to “Ribar” information, on April 26, the Russian Air Force destroyed a machine from the S-300 complex near Voznesensk with an X-31P missile hit.

As commented by the Telegram channel, if it is a matter of systematic work to destroy the Ukrainian air defense, this is able to seriously reduce the potential of the Air Force on the eve of their announced counteroffensive.
