At least one person was killed in a Russian drone attack on the city of Sumy in northern Ukraine on Monday. Sixteen others were injured.
Several buildings, including an apartment complex, were damaged. It was an attack with four unmanned Iranian drones, local authorities report.
Rescuers are searching for people who may still be under the rubble. Fire broke out in several apartments. It has now been extinguished.
After the attack, air raid sirens sounded again in Sumy and the surrounding region. The Ukrainian Air Force warned that new drones are on their way.
At least seventeen Iranian drones are said to have been sent in multiple directions. Thirteen of these were shot down, according to Kyiv.
