The incident, according to the Russian military department, occurred at 11:30. “Ukrainian cruise missiles were destroyed in the air over the Black Sea near the coast of the Republic of Crimea by means of air defense on duty,” the ministry said in a statement.

Mayor Sergei Sobyanin also reported on a drone shot down in the Lyubertsy region near Moscow, flying in the direction of Moscow. According to him, the drone was shot down by air defense forces, there were no casualties or damage. Sobyanin did not specify the time of the attack, however, around 02:30 am, Moscow’s Domodedovo and Vnukovo airports suspended receiving and sending flights. According to the Baza telegram channel, the “Carpet” plan was announced – it is used for illegal border crossings, as well as when unidentified objects appear in the airspace. An hour later, the airports resumed work.
