According to the press service, the SBU, Kyivstar specialists and other government agencies continue to help the mobile operator restore the network after yesterday’s hacker attack.
According to preliminary data, today it is planned:
- restore fixed internet for households;
- start launching mobile communications and the Internet.
It is noted that restoring all services while maintaining the necessary safety protocols will take time.
Who is to blame for the cyber attack?
Responsibility for the cyber attack was claimed by one of the Russian pseudo-hacker groups, which is a division of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
“The SBU continues to document the cyber attack of the Russian Federation on the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine as another war crime by the Russians,” the SBU writes.
