A courtroom in Russia has issued an arrest warrant towards the widow of the late opposition politician Alexei Navalny, accusing her of being a member of an “extremist group”.
Yulia Navalnaya has prevented the investigation, the press workplace of the Moscow courts introduced within the Telegram on-line service. That is why she was placed on the wished checklist. Navalnaya lives in exile.
Assured: “Good recognition”
Navalny was a number one opponent of Russian President Vladimir Putin. He died in a penal camp within the Arctic in February. His widow Navalnaya had introduced that she would proceed her husband’s work.
A confidant of Navalny, Leonid Volkov, took the arrest warrant with irony: “Good recognition of Yulia’s willpower to proceed combating Alexei,” wrote Volkov on X.
Nearly all of Russia’s foremost opposition leaders are both behind bars or in exile. 1000’s of Russian residents have been arrested for protesting or criticizing Russia’s struggle towards Ukraine. Many got heavy sentences.
