Russian court orders forced treatment of shaman who wanted to “expel Putin” from Kremlin

The Yakutsk city court ordered Gabishev to receive involuntary treatment in a “specialized type of medical organization with intensive monitoring,” a lawyer told MBH media.

Until the verdict takes effect, Gabishev will be in custody.

The Shaman trial began on April 30.

Gabishev has been prosecuted for using force against a member of the Russian National Guard.

On July 27, the term for holding Gabishev in a psychiatric hospital expires, which is why the court considered the case in such a hurry, Pryanshnikov believes.

As the shaman once explained to the Russian media, Russian President Vladimir Putin is, in fact, a demon that nature does not love, but only a shaman-soldier can deal with him.

Gabishev announced in March 2019 that he was going to the Kremlin to “expel Putin.” He was arrested in September after traveling 3,000 kilometers.

The Federal Security Service filed a lawsuit against public calls for extremism, but no charges were filed.

He was placed in a psychoneurological dispensary and declared uncountable on October 3, but was later released from medical treatment.

In December 2019, Gabishev went to Moscow again, but was again detained and charged with disobedience to the police.

In 2020, he underwent a course of involuntary treatment at the Yakutsk Psychiatric Dispensary, but was recognized as a political prisoner by the human rights organization Memorial.

In January 2021, he again announced his intention to walk to Moscow, but then Gabishev was again detained and placed in a psychiatric dispensary.
