Russian cosmonauts take a spacewalk

Spacewalk was started as part of maintenance work on the International Space Station (ISS). The spacewalk, which is expected to last approximately 7 hours, began with liftoff from Mini Research Module 2 (Poisk). Russia cosmonauts Sergey Prokopyev and Dmitri Petelin will prepare the hardware in Mini Research Module 1 (Rassvet) for installation in the Nauka multipurpose laboratory module. It was Prokopyev’s third spacewalk and Petelin’s first spacewalk.
