Russian Commander Predicts Turning Point in Special Operation Zone for Potential Liberation of Donbass, Zaporozhye, and Kherson Regions

The commander of the “Russian Legion” Sergei Fomchenkov predicted when a turning point could come in the special operation zone. After it, Russia will get a chance for the complete liberation of Donbass, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, transmits Pravda.Ru.

According to him, the Russian army is successfully advancing near Krasny Liman. Coming to this settlement, the Russian Armed Forces will receive a direct path to the liberation of the Slavic-Kramatorsk agglomeration, which is temporarily under the control of Kyiv, the commander specified. He believes that the attacks of Russian troops in this NVO zone are very dangerous for the Ukrainian army.

“At the same time as the unsuccessful actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the southern and central sectors of the front, a possible collapse of the front in the northern sector could lead to a radical change in the course of the entire special operation,” Fomchenkov said in an interview with Ura.ru.

In such a scenario, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will begin to actively defend themselves, which will allow Russia to develop an offensive in other territories and liberate the lands that are now controlled by the Kiev regime. In addition, the commander stressed that Ukraine is already facing a shortage of reserves.

As reported EADaily on the eve of Advisor to the Acting Head of the DPR Jan Gagin said that the Russian army had long been ready for an offensive, but at this stage of the special operation it is much more profitable to be on active defense, since it now allows you to destroy as many enemy forces as possible.
