The breakdown occurred as a result of the actions of ground services staff at the Thai airport, the airline claims. Passengers were redirected to other flights. While waiting, people were provided with food and drinks. Their hotel accommodation was also arranged.
In addition, 400 Aeroflot passengers heading to Turkish Antalya were stuck in the Russian capital. The first plane was urgently returned to the departure airport due to an engine fire.
The second plane also turned out to be faulty – it took an hour and a half to repair it, without letting people out of the cabin, but these attempts were in vain. As a result, passengers were able to fly to Turkey with an eight-hour delay.
As Cursor reported, in July, a Russian airline’s plane suffered an engine failure during flight. There were 150 passengers on board the aircraft. The aircraft commander announced an emergency signal and reported the failure of the left engine. At this time they were flying over the Tambov region at an altitude of 11.5 thousand meters.
Kursor also wrote that in August, on board a plane of the Russian airline Ural Airlines, which was flying Sochi-Moscow, a flight attendant’s heart stopped at an altitude of 10 thousand meters. Due to the incident, the plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Volgograd, where the flight attendant was picked up by an ambulance.
