In the Egyptian resort town of Hurghada, a shark ate a man in the sea. As it turned out, the deceased is a citizen of Russia.
Creepy footage of a predator attack on a person appeared on telegram channels.
The attack took place in the waters off the famous Dream Beach. The video shows how, after a shark attack, a blood stain spreads across the water, and either the lower limbs or the head of a mortally wounded man flicker over the surface of the sea.
Local residents tried to save the victim of the fish, but did not have time. And in the sea at that time there were many other vacationers.
The Consul General of Russia confirmed that a Russian was the victim of the attack.
“On June 8, a man died as a result of a shark attack in the Dream Beach area (Hurghada),” the message posted on the Consulate General’s telegram channel says.
The diplomatic mission appealed to travelers with an appeal to “remain vigilant when in the water, strictly follow the bans on swimming and diving established by the Egyptian authorities, and strictly observe the signals from the hotel staff and the coast guard to go to land.”
After the emergency, all the beaches in the resort town were closed, people are urged not to go into the sea.
This is not the first such attack in Hurghada. Earlier we wrote that in July last year, a shark bit off a tourist’s arm and leg there.
And in 2017, in the Egyptian Mars-Alam, a shark attacked a 20-year-old Austrian tourist, but she was saved by an entrepreneur from Uzhgorod.
