（ＣＮＮ） Russian Chechen Sheikh Kadyrov said in a post on social media Telegram on May 30 that he had received an order to relocate his forces to the pro-Russian Donetsk People’s Republic in eastern Ukraine. Kadoilov is known as an ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“The Chechen units have received a new order to redeploy their forces,” Kadyrov said. We have to start and liberate many settlements,” he said.
Kadoilov said the combat unit was preparing with active support from the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff.
Kadoilov said there was also tactical training, such as the division of roles between commanders and combatants, and the study of terrain and the disposition of enemy forces.
Mr. Kadyrov heads a large paramilitary force, which formally forms part of Russia’s security apparatus but shows loyalty to Mr. Kadyrov. During a visit to the Kremlin in March, Kadyrov told Putin that his own troops in Ukraine would help Russia until the war was won.
