Alla Pugacheva and Maxim Galkin After the start of the Russian special operation, many Russian celebrities left the country, thereby making it clear that they did not approve of the authorities’ policies. Among them were Alla Pugacheva and Maxim Galkin, recognized as a foreign agent.
Political scientist Dmitry Raevsky talked with Prokhor Chaliapin about patriotism and stars who went abroad. Both the folk singer and the person knowledgeable about political aspects agreed in the opinion that the eminent “fugitives” should be forgiven and accepted back after they left the country and began to speak negatively about the Russian leadership from abroad.
“All of us, society, were very strongly integrated into the West, many had real estate abroad. People of art too. I believe that Pugacheva and the rest of the “fugitives” are victims of propaganda. These are people of the emotional sphere, when they are deceived by emotions, they are getting divorced. What Western propaganda is doing is divorcing on emotions,” the expert stated.
Prokhor Chaliapin said that he was not going to leave Russia for any reason. He is convinced that only in his homeland can he realize himself and benefit the country.
“Leaving or not leaving Russia is a personal matter for everyone. I can say that I will not leave Russia. Because I understand: without my country there will be no me. In any case, we will emerge victorious in the Northern Military District. And I again hold my head high I will travel to America as before. And instead of blaming Pugacheva who left, I advise everyone to ask themselves: “What benefits do I personally bring to our country here and now?” – Chaliapin spoke out.
Let us recall that Alla Pugacheva left Russia following her young husband Maxim Galkin, who was later recognized as a foreign agent. Now the couple lives in Israel with their children Lisa and Harry.
