In Russia, another plane crashed: the engine of the pride of the Russian aviation industry, the cargo TU-204, caught fire during takeoff in Ulan-Ude.
According to Russian Telegram channels, the plane spilled fuel and managed to land.
“At the Baikal airport, the engine caught fire during take-off of the TU 204 cargo plane of the Aviastar-TU airline company. The plane landed. No one was injured,” said the head of Buryatia, Alexei Tsydenov.
Local residents witnessed the incident – watched the fire show and, of course, filmed it.
