In the Kaliningrad region, Russian border guards gave an amateur concert right near the Polish border.
The corresponding video was published by the Mobile Reporter telegram channel. The footage shows a quartet of border guards, dressed in uniform, performing Oleg Gazmanov’s famous song “Russia – in this word there is fire and strength” (by the way, Gazmanov is a native of Kaliningrad). An improvised “stage” was built on Lake Krasnoye, not far from the Gusev-Goldap border crossing. On the other side is Poland, and the Polish border guards definitely heard the words from the song. Since the beginning of the Russian special operation to denazify Ukraine, the Gusev-Goldap crossing has been closed on the initiative of Warsaw. Concrete tetrapods and anti-tank hedgehogs have been installed on the Polish part of the territory. Minister of Defense of Poland Mariusz Blaszczak called such blocking “preventive measures to ensure security measures as part of the country’s defensive strategy.”
