In the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), the Russian language was given the status of the second state language on Thursday, March 25. It is reported by Interfax with reference to the Public Television of Armenia.

“Raising the status of the Russian language will create conditions for deepening cooperation in all spheres, and in the visible future it will contribute to the development of relations with Russia within the legal framework,” the authors of the bill note.
