“As for the formation of this battalion, it has happened that it is no longer news. Indeed, there are a lot of representatives of the Russian Federation and Russian minorities fighting on our side, who are categorically opposed to the Putin regime,” Danilov said on the air of the national telethon.
“They are helping us in this fight. That’s all I can say right now,” the official added.
Yesterday, the information agency “Bloomberg” announced that the battalion “Sibir” has been created, which consists exclusively of Russian citizens – both Russians and representatives of Russian minorities.
Today, Danilov confirmed who this formation is in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the official, Russian citizens on the side of Ukraine have been at war against the Putin regime since the first days of the repeated Russian invasion.
In the near future, we will see more than one such battalion, said Danilov.
