According to “RT” website, Zilioni said in a speech he delivered at the 47th “Koroliev” Academic Space Symposium, that Russian scientists were able for the first time to discover 8 exoplanets using the automatic telescope in the mountains of Karachay-Cherkessia.

According to the director of the institute, the aforementioned telescope has applied the method of comparison of intensity Some stars glow in different periods of time, which enables them to come to a conclusion about the presence of planets revolving in their orbits.
It is noteworthy that the 47th “Koroliev” symposium will be held by the Space Academy in the period between January 24 and 27 at the “Baumen” State Technical University in Moscow.
