Russian attacks on Sumy cost nine lives

Use of drones against a hospital

Ukraine is once again attacked at night by Russian drones and missiles. At least nine people are killed in the Ukrainian city of Sumy. Russia is also targeting medical facilities. Ukrainian President Zelenskyj finds clear words on this subject.

Authorities say at least nine people have been killed in two Russian attacks on a medical facility in the Ukrainian city of Sumy. Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said one person was killed in the first attack on Saturday morning. Russia attacked again as patients and employees fled to safety. Twelve other people were injured, the Sumy military administration reported. Russia reportedly used Shahed drones against the facility.

Ukraine’s air force said it shot down 69 of 73 Russian drones and two of four missiles fired Saturday evening. According to the Kyiv city administration, around 15 drones were shot down over the Ukrainian capital.

Anyone in the world who comments on this war knows what Russia is aiming for, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj wrote on Network. Only force could force Russia into peace.

Another death in Kyvyi Rih

According to authorities, the body of a man was found under the rubble of an administrative building in the town of Kryvy Rih, hit by a Russian missile on Friday. This brings the number of deaths in the attack to four.

The Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday that Russian air defenses shot down four Ukrainian drones over the Belgorod region and one over the Kursk region. Both regions border Ukraine, where Russia is waging a war of aggression. One person was killed in Ukrainian shelling of the Russian border town of Shebekino on Saturday, Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said. Two other people were injured.
