At least one person is said to have been killed in the attack, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

A hospital in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro in the east of the country has been hit in a Russian attack. Reuters reported it at 10:16 a.m.

Both President Zelenskyj and Dnipro Governor Serhiy Lysak confirm the attack.

– Russian terrorists show once again that they are at war against everything humane, President Zelensky signs off Telegram.

He states that at least one person must have been killed and 15 injured in the Russian attack.

In a video released by the president, you can see destroyed buildings and firefighters working to put out flames.

The Ukrainian authorities are working to rescue people from the hospital and that all necessary resources are on site, writes the president.

– My condolences go to the families and victims, writes the president.

Dnipro governor Serhiy Lysak writes on Telegram that it has been a heavy night until Friday and Friday morning in Dnipro.

Ukrainian authorities claim to have shot down 17 Russian missiles and 31 drones during the night.

Several drones and missiles hit targets in the eastern cities of Dnipro and Kharkiv, including an oil depot, the BBC writes.

Doctors Without Borders in Ukraine has rushed to the hospital in Dnipro to assist after the attack, they report Twitter at 11:30 a.m.:

– An ambulance team is on the scene and supports the work to save the injured.
