The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov has shown the French “wheeled tanks” AMX-10, which the Ukrainian army has received.
“We took a ride with our fighters and agreed to call the AMX-10 a ‘sniper rifle on fast wheels,'” he wrote on Twitter, UNIAN reports.
Reznikov thanked his French counterpart Sebastien Lecorneau, French President Emmanuel Macron and the entire French people for this delivery.
“These fast modern machines with powerful guns will help us liberate our territory. This is what Freedom, Equality and Fraternity look like,” emphasizes the minister.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation published information that the Russian military struck Ukrainian units that had advanced to launch a counterattack, world media reported.
The strikes were carried out in the region of Konstantinovka and Chasov Yar, where units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were planning a counterattack in the DPR.
The military operations are conducted by the forces of the army and operational-tactical aviation with artillery support from the South Group of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
During these operations, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian side suffered significant losses in the Krasnoliman and Kupyan directions.
The official representative of the department also reported on the total losses suffered by the armed forces of Ukraine in LPR, DPR and Kharkiv region during the past 24 hours. As a result of the hostilities, about 115 Ukrainian fighters were destroyed, as well as about ten units of military equipment.

On the night of April 19, the Russian occupiers attacked the Odesa region with Shahid-136 drones, striking an infrastructure object.
This was announced by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Yuriy Kruk on Facebook. “At night, the enemy attacked the Odesa area with Shahid-136 type UAVs. Thanks to the successful work of our defense forces, most of the enemy UAVs were destroyed, but unfortunately there was a hit on public infrastructure. facility,” he said.
