Russian Airline Scandal: Passengers Stranded for 14 Hours at Moscow Airport

The next landing, which was supposed to begin at Moscow Zhukovsky airport at 9 am, was disrupted.

In the capital of the aggressor state of the Russian Federation, another scandal occurred related to the delay of the flight: passengers were unable to fly to Sri Lanka from Zhukovsky airport for more than 14 hours, Dialogue.UA reports with reference to Russian public pages.

The Red Wings airline plane was supposed to fly from Moscow to Hambantota yesterday evening at 21:20 (Kyiv time). At first, the flight was postponed for technical reasons, explaining this as a malfunction of the airliner. Passengers planning to fly to the resort sat in the terminal all night and morning, after which boarding was announced.

But inside the Boeing 777 it turned out to be no better than in the terminal: the heating was not turned on in the cabin, and the flight was again delayed due to the fact that customs officers had to board the plane and needed to count the passengers.

It became known that at least 13 passengers, whose patience had finally run out, simply refused to fly, left the plane and returned their tickets.

Passengers were left full only with “breakfast” from the airline and still do not know when they will be able to fly: the next boarding, which was supposed to begin at 9 a.m., was canceled“, say eyewitnesses of the incident.

The remaining passengers are still on the plane, but it has not yet taken off.

We previously reported that due to a breakdown in Moscow, a plane with passengers and radioactive substances on board made an emergency landing.

Let us remind you that over 9 days in the Russian Federation there were 11 cases of emergency landing of passenger planes due to problems with depressurization.
