The Z-channel “Airborne Forces for Honesty and Justice,” which is associated with officers of the occupation group of the Russian Armed Forces “Dnepr,” reacted painfully to the incident, Dialog.UA reports.
The channel did not like the fact that prisoners recruited into the 345th Air Assault Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces were given vests – a symbol of the Airborne Forces.
“The first vest is given as a reward; it is worn only after the first perfect jump from the board. The vest is a SYMBOL that a person has been accepted into the airborne brotherhood. And now the Airborne Forces symbol has been given to thieves, murderers, and rapists. There has never been such a shame in the Airborne Forces!!! All our glorious traditions have been violated!!! Spit in the face of all veteran paratroopers“, wrote the Russian Z-channel.
He demanded the confiscation of vests from prisoners and the resignation of the Airborne Forces commander, General Mikhail Teplinsky, who allowed such a scandal.
Let us note that the Russian Airborne Forces operate mainly in the Kherson direction. In recent months, the Russian army has experienced a “dark streak” on this section of the front due to the emergence of a bridgehead of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Krynoki. When trying to drive the Ukrainians out of there, Russian airborne forces suffer colossal losses.
