Russian Aggression Causes Destruction of 763 Cultural Heritage Sites in Ukraine

As a result of Russian aggression, 763 objects of cultural heritage were damaged or destroyed in Ukraine, the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine announced on Monday.

“Out of them, 105 objects of national importance, 595 of local importance, 63 newly discovered ones,” the ministry said.

According to Ukrainian authorities, 23 monuments have been completely destroyed, 625 have been partially damaged, and the degree of damage to 115 objects has not yet been determined.

In the country as a whole, cultural monuments were damaged in 15 regions, but mostly in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Kherson, Kyiv and Odesa regions.
