“The Security Service of Ukraine has opened criminal proceedings into the crash of the Russian Aerospace Forces Il-76 aircraft in the Belgorod region. The investigation is being carried out under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war),” the publication was told.
Currently, the SBU is carrying out a set of measures to clarify all the circumstances of the plane crash.

But intelligence does not confirm the statement that there were Ukrainian prisoners of war on the plane. They note that information on the IL-76 crew is being checked.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky later said that the Russians are playing with the lives of Ukrainian prisoners, with the feelings of relatives and with the emotions of our society. He also noted that it is necessary to establish all clear facts, as much as possible, given that the plane crashed on Russian territory.
At the same time, a statement from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has already appeared. Also against the backdrop of the fall of Il, the commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Nikolai Oleshchuk, also released a statement.
