A serious scandal unfolded in the Russian-speaking STALKER community. The reason for it was the creation of Russian voice acting for the upcoming new game in the famous series from GSC Game World. One of the professional dubbing actors Yegor Vasiliev, who previously gave his voice to V in Cyberpunk 2077, began to openly threaten the fan dubbing of STALKER 2.
The other day there was news about plans to release high-quality voice acting for STALKER 2, for which the proven GamesVoice studio will have to be responsible. Despite the fact that the release date of the shooter and the amount of work remains unknown, the authors are already recruiting dubbing actors, and one of them was Yegor Vasiliev.
As it turned out, Vasilyev was not very pleased with the fact that another team of enthusiasts, less well-known than GamesVoice, is already working on the voice acting of STALKER 2. The team that donated dubbing for the large-scale Lost Alpha mod also set out to add Russian voices to the future game. Screenshots of correspondence have appeared on the network, where threats from a professional actor towards a small team of enthusiasts are clearly visible.
The authenticity of the correspondence has yet to be verified, since it was conducted in private messages. Yegor Vasiliev himself has not yet commented on the situation screenshots, it is quite possible that this scandal with the voice acting of STALKER 2 into Russian will continue.
