Russia will not cooperate with the West, said the Foreign Ministry

“Regardless of the duration and result (of the war in Ukraine – ed.), it can already be stated that the thirty-year era of generally constructive, albeit not problematic, cooperation with the West has irrevocably ended,” the official of the aggressor country said.

He also added that Moscow now has an opportunity to shed its illusions and “go beyond the ‘friendly takeover’ paradigm, which was restored by Western colleagues after 1992.”

“It is clear that there will be no return to the situation before February 24 in relations with the countries of North America and Europe … Russia has entered an acute phase of combat with an aggressive alliance of unfriendly states led by the United States. The enemy’s goal is to inflict a strategic defeat on our country, eliminating it as a geopolitical competitor,” Drobinin added.
