Zelensky also said that more than 180 thousand people have been evacuated on humanitarian corridors in Ukraine so far, including 9,000 on Friday from the city of Mariupol.
“Today (Friday), there were seven humanitarian corridors in Ukraine – six in the Sumy region and one in the Donetsk region. More than 9,000 people managed to evacuate the blocked Mariupol. More than 180 thousand Ukrainians have already been rescued during the humanitarian corridors. Hundreds of tons of essential products have been delivered,” he said. Zelensky.
He recalled a rescue operation to pull people out of the rubble of the Mariupol Drama Theater, which had been destroyed in a Russian air raid.
