Through his Twitter account, Rogozin was so angry about Joe Biden’s speech about sanctions over the Ukraine crisis. “Do you want to destroy our cooperation on the ISS?” Rogozin asked in a series of tweets, which quoted ReutersSunday (27/2/2022).
He also noted that the orbital control of the ISS space station to continuously maintain its position is carried out using the engines of a Russian cargo ship docked to the ISS.
“If you block cooperation with us, then who will save the ISS from an uncontrollable descent from orbit and then crashing into the United States or Europe?” he wrote.

“There are also scenarios where a 500-ton structure falls in India or China. Do you want to threaten them with this prospect? ISS doesn’t fly over Russia, so all the risk is in your hands.”
Rogozin ended his Twitter rant by urging the US government to “resist” what he called “Alzheimer’s sanctions.”
Asked for its response to Rogozin’s anger, NASA said it would continue to work closely with all of its international partners, including Roscosmos. “The ongoing safe operations of the International Space Station will continue,” NASA said.
“New export control measures will continue to enable US-Russian civil space operations,” NASA added. “No changes are planned to the agency’s support for ongoing operations in orbit and ground stations.”
