Ukrainian offensive forces Russia to increase its troops in the occupied south

The offensive of the Ukrainian defenders forces Russia to increase its troops in the occupied south.

Russia is deploying a large number of troops to the territory of the occupied Crimea. In the future, they are planned to be used in the south of our state for combat operations against the armed forces of Ukraine. The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Vadim Skibitsky told about this in an interview with the publication The Guardian.

According to a representative of the military intelligence of Ukraine, two weeks ago Russia withdrew tactical groups of airborne troops from the Donetsk region and transferred them to the occupied Kherson. Russia is also moving troops from its eastern military district, which were used to attack Slavyansk.

“If Russia had won the battle in the south and east of Ukraine, it would have continued new offensive operations to capture more territory in Ukraine, using units that are now being formed in Russia,” said Vadym Skibitsky.

Also, the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine noted that, in addition to additional weapons, Ukraine needs help in training troops abroad.

Let us recall that earlier it was reported that Russia creates conditions for advance on Kharkov. The districts of Balakleya and Bolshaya Kamyshevakhi can become a springboard for the invaders to attack the city from the southeast.
