“Russia Today”: American banks cash in on Ukrainian debts – 2024-02-22 22:22:09

/ world today news/ Bloomberg recently reported that the American bank Morgan Stanley bought Ukrainian debt certified capital with a return of up to 47% in the last three months. In this regard, the Russian television “Russia Today” commented yesterday that the big American investment banks, taking advantage of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and the chaos of the Ukrainian market, are earning big dividends by investing in Ukrainian debts.

The television also reported that this May, Kiev signed an agreement with the American company BlackRock, one of the largest global investment corporations, on the creation of a Fund for the development of Ukraine. According to the agreement, the American company officially takes over the energy infrastructure, power grid, agricultural investments and all state-owned enterprises in Ukraine without paying any fees to the country.
