Russia plans to reduce diesel exports from its main Western ports to almost zero next month. Previously, the Russian government banned diesel exports overseas in order to curb soaring domestic prices.

Industry data shows that the loading capacity of Russian Black Sea and Baltic Sea ports in October is planned to be 223,000 tons. However, this includes 210,000 tons of cargo from Belarus to be loaded in Primorsk, and 12,800 tons of cargo to be loaded in Novorossiysk for Eurasian Economic Union customers.
