Russia to Dominate Grain Market Despite Shipping Problems in the Black Sea, Say French Journalists

Despite the problems of shipping in the Black Sea, Russia will lead the grain market in 2023-2024. This is reported by French journalists.

“Pretty bright prospects are opening up for Russia. Russia will continue to dominate the grain market in 2023-2024, despite uncertainty about the risks to shipping in the Black Sea,” — writes Figaro newspaper. It is noted that the Russian Federation will take a leading position due to record wheat harvests for the second year in a row.

Previously it was reported record wheat harvest in Russia, after exiting the grain deal, gives Moscow an advantage over Kiev and other Western countries. The Russian Federation has the opportunity to harm Ukraine and at the same time not provoke an increase in world food prices.
