Russia to announce its actions soon after analyzing US and NATO responses to its proposals – Politics – tsn.ua

The proposals made by the US President during the telephone conversation largely coincide with the content of the transmitted NATO and US responses.

Russia will soon announce what actions it intends to take after reviewing US and NATO responses to its “security guarantee” proposals.

This was announced in the Kremlin, – writes Interfax.

“It was said that we have almost completed the interdepartmental study of our possible actions, and this will be announced in the near future,” Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said following a telephone conversation between the Russian and US presidents.

Ushakov noted that the proposals made by the US President during the telephone conversation “in many respects coincide with the content of the transmitted NATO and American responses.

The telephone conversation between Putin and Biden took place on Saturday evening at the initiative of the American side. The presidents of the Russian Federation and the United States talked for a little more than an hour.

Recall that earlier the countries of the European Union received a letter from Russia, in which it was written that the EU should legally provided the Russian Federation with “security guarantees”.

It is worth noting that the Spanish newspaper El País published Full text of US and NATO responses about the so-called “security guarantees” proposed by Russia in December. Yes, the Alliance posted its answer on four pages, and official Washington on five.

The State Department reacted to the leak of a written response from the United States and NATO to the “security guarantees” of the Russian Federation, noting that saw no signs, pointing to the inauthenticity of the written response published by the Spanish newspaper to Russia’s proposals.
