“Russia Threatens First Use of Nuclear Weapons in Aggression: Deputy Chairman of Security Council Warns Opponents”

MOSCOW – Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Russia Dmitry Medvedev said, Moscow can use nuclear weapons first in case of aggression against it or its allies.

“Opponents must not underestimate Russia’s resolve,” said Medvedev, who also served as Russia’s president between 2008 and 2012. AnadoluTuesday (25/4/2023).

He made this known during an educational marathon in Moscow called “Knowledge”, a platform for open discussion between young people and government representatives.

When asked about climate change, Medvedev replied: “Do you really care about the climate to such an extent? In my opinion, this is nothing compared to the prospect of being at the epicenter of an explosion with a temperature of 5,000 Kelvin.”

“Is there such a prospect today? (Unfortunately,) yes. And it’s growing every day for well-known reasons,” he said.

Medvedev believes the modern world is “sick” and a world war is possible, but can still be avoided.
