Russia, the United States, China and Pakistan, a group known as the “expanded troika” for the settlement in Afghanistan, today called for accelerating “without delay” the intra-Afghan peace dialogue in the Central Asian country.
This is indicated by a joint statement by the special envoys of these countries at the end of a conference attended by representatives of the Afghan government and the Taliban movement, as well as a delegation from Qatar, which welcomes intra-Afghan negotiations, which have been blocked since the last year.
