The Russian hockey players defeated Sweden 6: 4 at the beginning of the Czech Games in Prague and also won the tenth match in this year’s Euro Hockey Tour. Vladislav Kameněv scored three points for two goals and one assist for the winner, and Anton Burdasov also scored twice. The Swedes will have a duel with the Czech national team on Thursday in the second match in the O2 arena from 20:00, the team will play against Finland four hours earlier.

The Russians decided all three previous fights with the Swedes in the season only in the setting, this time they received a full point gain. Although they lost from the 9th minute, when Oscar Lindberg’s Pär Lindholm’s attempt ran, at 13:54 Igor Ožiganov equalized in the game of four against four. He deftly got rid of Jonathan Pudas and overtook Adam Reideborn with a backhand.
After 89 seconds of the second period after a mistake by Nils Lundkvit on the offensive blue line, he turned the situation from the Burdasov escape. In 88 seconds, in a power play with the exclusion of Markus Ljungh, he hit the left circle with a shot over the defender Emil Galimov. In the 32nd minute, the Swedes got in touch when Jesper Frödén turned three to one after Jonathan Berggren’s pass.

At the end of the second part, however, in another power play, Burdasov returned the team’s two-goal lead with a shot from the right circle. In the 47th minute, Kamenevev adjusted to 5: 2 after an individual action with a backhand attempt.
The Swedes quickly returned to the game. Filip Hallander came out of the finish line in 64 seconds and overtook Alexander Samonov Pudas in another 32 seconds. During the Swedes’ power play, however, in 59:41, Kamenev sealed the Russian victory in an empty goal.
