In fact, the US Department of Defense or the Pentagon says the testing of dangerous weapons in the midst of Russia’s war in Ukraine is not a threat to America.
“Russia correctly informed the US under its New START treaty obligations that it plans to test this ICBM,” Pentagon spokesman John Kirby told reporters Wednesday afternoon.
“The tests are routine, and the US Department of Defense considers them not a threat,” he said Russia TodayThursday (21/4/2022).

The latest RS-28 Sarmat ICBM was launched from the Plesetsk military cosmodrome on Wednesday morning, which Russian President Vladimir Putin called a “very important event” for his country.
“This truly unique weapon will strengthen the potential of our armed forces, ensure Russia’s security from external threats and provide respite to those who try to threaten us in the heat of frenzied aggressive rhetoric,” Putin said.
“This new missile is capable of penetrating all modern defenses, and will not have analogues anywhere in the world for a long time,” the Russian president added.
