The St. Petersburg court has given a decision on the missing in Kouvola in 2013 Yulia Seredenkon case. The St. Petersburg television channel Sankt Peterburg reports on the matter.
According to the court, her husband at the time is responsible for the disappearance of Seredenko, 41 Denis Kirjanenwho took his wife’s life in Kouvola in September 2013.
The Russian couple had moved to Finland a couple of years earlier from the city of Hatsina in the Leningrad region.
According to the court, Denis Kirjanen killed his wife by hitting her on the head with a dumbbell. After that he had washed off the blood and disposed of the body.
According to Seredenko’s eldest son, Denis Kirjanen and his mother were getting divorced at the time of the murder.
– They were going to break up, but then, as we found out, he retracted his statement. They remained married. And a couple of days later, my mother literally disappears, the boy said.
The Finnish police also investigated Seredenko’s disappearance for years, but the body has not been found.
The booklet’s verdict will be announced in May.
