MOSCOW, Feb. 7 (Xinhua) — The Russian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday denounced Washington’s hype over China’s civilian unmanned airship.
“We believe that the explanation given by the Chinese side regarding the entry of a Chinese unmanned airship into US airspace due to force majeure is completely sufficient and understandable,” a statement said. Russian ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.
China has acted responsibly in this difficult situation, yet the knee-jerk reaction by the United States and American media can only be described as “hysterical,” she said.
“The United States continues, for far-fetched and often unreasonable reasons, to denigrate and demonize countries that have no intention of following suit,” Zakharova added. END
