Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin proposed to ban the ICC on the territory of the Russian Federation and introduce punishment for assisting the organization. The country will also look for allies who will refuse trial in The Hague.

Volodin’s direct speech: “Nneed to develop amendments to the legislation prohibiting any activity of the ICC on the territory of our country, as well as to provide for responsibility for promoting and supporting the ICC.
It is important to organize work on the conclusion of bilateral agreements with friendly countries, providing for mutual non-cooperation and assistance of the ICC.
U Supreme Commander of the Russian Federation should be the right to take any action to protect our citizens in case of adoption by international structures of decisions that contradict the norms of the Constitution of Russia.
