As of midnight, Russia now considers all vessels entering Ukrainian ports to be carriers of military cargo. The information was announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense, quoted by TASS. This is in connection with the termination of the grain transaction, the department specified.
Russia has stopped the movement of cargo ships through the Kerch Strait since July 16
“From 00:00 Moscow time on July 20, 2023, all vessels sailing in the waters of the Black Sea to Ukrainian ports will be considered as potential carriers of military cargo.” This is stated in the announcement of the Ministry of War.
The countries under whose flag these vessels sail will be considered participants in the military conflict, occupying the side of Kiev.
